My father-in-law's family came from a town in Russia by the name of Koutz in
the Volga Valley somewhere around 1914. It was originally a German town and
in the reign of Catherine it was given to Russia so had to be on or close to
the border. Do not know his father's name but can find out and let you know.
They had 3 children when they arrived in Montana and 4 after they got here (or
vise-versa). The names that I can remember are Jake, Bill, Alex (Tex), Dave
-- will have to send the rest. The family name was Neubauer but somehow was
changed. All except one of the decendents remained in Montana (Billings,
Chinook, LaHavre) except Bill who ended up in Texas. If you are interested I
can get some further information from my mother-in-law. Father-in-law is
deceased.

How did Alexander and his wife, Ellen, meet? What brought Alexander to
England? I've got info on him, but I can't find what brought him to England.

Great to find some other decendents of Alexander Neibaur. I am the
oldest son of Neal and Ruth Williams. My mother's maiden name is Neibaur. I just wanted to say "HI".
I don't know a whole lot about the Neibaur line.

My name is Seth Williams. I am the son of Neal and Ruth Williams. Ruth is
the daughter of Adrian and Alta Neibaur. I really would
like to get some stories, and interesting facts about each of my ancestors.

My name is Shannon Kelly and I am a decendant of the Neibaur family. My
great-grandmother was Charlette Neibaur and her father was Hyrum Smith
Neibaur. My problem is that I have no geneology information after
Alexander. Would you be able to help me in anyway you can? And any help as
to his wifes geneology would be very helpful.

Ellen
Neibaur Hayward ( married William Gammon Hayward). They lived at
Paris, Idaho and had 12 children. One of her daughters, Ellen Hayward,
married Erman Alexander Stevens, and they lived at Bloomington, Idaho.
Ellen Hayward died in 1945, when I was seven, and unfortunately, I don't
remember her . My grandmother
Stevens was such a loving person, that I was wondering what her mother
must have been like.

Doug,
Are you an ancestor of Alexander Neibaur born 8 Jan 1808,
Ehrenbreitstein, Hessen, Nassau, Prussia? He married Ellen Breakell on
16 Sep 1833 in England, he died 15 Dec 1883 in Salt Lake City, Utah. We
receive the Neibaur Neighbor each year announcing their reunion. Are you
part of this group. My husband, David's, mother was Jane Neibaur
granddaughter of the above. If this is the same family we would be
interested in your mailing list. Our e-mail is cobabe@gte.net. Thanks!
